Follow EcoComply’s latest developments, practitioner research and project milestones as the platform continues to evolve.
EcoComply’s latest practitioner research has now closed following approximately six weeks of engagement, from late September to early November. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, experience and professional insight.
Our initial analysis is informing the next stage of development, including the Legislation–Guidance–Mitigation Triangle—an interpretive model developed in response to practitioner feedback. This model connects applicable legal requirements, authoritative guidance and practical site controls, and will become a central organising principle for EcoComply’s practitioner-led design.
We are also introducing a trial reference coding system to make related content easier to identify, cross-reference and navigate within the platform.
Over the coming weeks, we will continue analysing the feedback and updating the platform in line with our practitioner-led design principles. This work will inform a forthcoming publication documenting EcoComply’s development and how practitioner insight is shaping its direction.

This research phase has now closed.
EcoComply has begun its next round of practitioner research as part of the ongoing development of the platform.
Environmental professionals working across construction and infrastructure are being invited to explore the current pilot and provide feedback on its practical usefulness, content, functionality and potential routes for adoption.
The findings will help inform the next stage of EcoComply development and ensure that the platform continues to respond to the practical needs of environmental practitioners.
